Upcoming Funding Opportunities and Events
Inspiring local people to create a new vision for Bo’ness & Blackness
Bo’net – the Bo’ness Networking Group – worked with the charity Coalfields Regeneration Trust to create a local community action plan for the area in 2013. Local Development Worker Maria Ford has been working with both groups to help local organisations deliver the action plan and access new funding and support.
Coalfields is now starting work on next five-year plan and is organising community events in Bo’ness on February 3 and March 3 to gather local views. The charity wants good representation from people across Bo’ness and is working with the respected Electoral Reform Society to deliver the engagement events.
Both sessions will run on Saturday mornings in Bo’ness Town Hall from 9.30am to 1pm and will finish with a free lunch. There will also be a prize draw for participants. It’s your chance to have your say about your area and press for real improvements for your community.
