Refreshed community council to meet on October 12

Bo’ness Community Council is hosting the first meeting of its new session this Wednesday (12 October).
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting. It will be held upstairs in Bo’ness Library, Scotland’s Close, Bo’ness, from 7 p.m.
Following a call for nominations to serve on the Community Council, ten people came forward to fill the ten places available. This means the Community Council was reformed without the need for a formal election.
The 10 are:
- Lennox Ainslie
- Brian Dempsey
- Owen Griffiths
- Madelene Hunt
- Brian Laird
- Stuart McAllister
- Jaine Mclean
- John Ogden
- Matteo Petruzzo and
- Val Spowart
The group will also look for nominations for a further five people from local groups.
An officer from Falkirk Council will attend the first meeting to oversee the election of office bearers.
