Wildlife in the local Community

Did you know Hedgehogs are now designated a priority conservation species and heading towards endangered status with over 50,00 being killed each year on Britain’s roads alone?

Our friends across the water in Milesmark & Baldridge Community Council, Dunfermline have produced a simple to use Wildlife Information Leaflet which aims to encourage local communities to help local Wildlife.

The leaflet gives advice on how you can help make a difference by giving tips and advice on what to look for or actions to take to encourage Hedgehogs, Birds, Bees and Butterflies in your greenspace, no matter how big or small.

Involved in a local community group? Why not create a lavish wildlife hotel or make some tasty bird feeders? You’ll get lots of advice and ideas from the RSPB Website
